Mission

Our Story
The Paula Marshall Foundation began with a single, life-changing trip to Ghana. During her visit, Paula Marshall fell in love with the children she met. She was struck by their resilience despite living in poverty and facing challenges like teen pregnancy with no way out.
Paula realized that education was the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Guided by this belief, she set out to build schools that now educate more than 1,000 students, providing opportunities they never dreamed possible. From elementary education to vocational training, these schools equip Ghanaian children with lifelong skills and hope for a brighter future.
Paula’s mission is simple yet powerful: to make education accessible to all children in Ghana.

I am happy Dr. Paula built a school in our farming community to provide the opportunity to learn how to read and write. I love my school because it’s beautiful. My favorite color is green and I aspire to be a teacher in the future.
